## Machine preamble

**Summary:** Explore an Expo storefront built with the Inttegro React Native SDK. This C# representation uses the selected SDK's native names wherever Studio has a verified mapping.

### Five questions

#### Q1. When should the reader use React Native and Expo demo?

Use this demo guide to inspect a complete working integration and compare it with the application being built.

#### Q2. What is authoritative on this page?

The demo proves one working composition, not the only supported architecture. Follow its linked SDK and API pages for current contracts.

#### Q3. What page-specific constraint matters most?

Do not copy demo credentials, identifiers, or deployment assumptions. Recreate configuration through supported public setup paths.

#### Q4. Can Inttegro MCP materially help with this task?

No catalog ability is sufficiently specific to recommend for this page. Use the documentation directly; consult the MCP catalog only if the task later requires governed live account context or a supported operation.

#### Q5. How should the reader verify the answer and continue?

Open the hosted experience, trace the corresponding source, and verify that its SDK and API usage still matches the current linked documentation. Continue with [Set up the Next.js demo backend](https://studio.inttegro.com/machine/csharp/demos/nextjs.md) and [Inttegro React Native SDK](https://studio.inttegro.com/machine/csharp/mobile/react-native.md) when those concerns enter scope.

# React Native and Expo demo

Build an Expo storefront that opens Inttegro’s native payment sheets. The app
receives an order ID from your backend.

## See the flow

Compare the payment-ready and completed states on iOS and Android.

## What you’ll build

- A [React Native](https://reactnative.dev/docs/set-up-your-environment)
storefront run as an [Expo development build](https://docs.expo.dev/develop/development-builds/introduction/)
- Native payment-sheet presentation through the [Inttegro React Native SDK](https://studio.inttegro.com/machine/csharp/mobile/react-native.md)
- Backend-owned customer, order, amount, currency, and API key
- Payment-sheet events with React lifecycle cleanup

## Run the demo

Install the dependencies, set the backend URL, and build the iOS or Android
app. Expo Go cannot load this native module. The
[released README](https://github.com/inttegro/inttegro-demos/blob/react-native-expo-v1.8.3/react-native-expo/README.md)
has the exact commands.

## Key files

1. [`src/demoBackend.ts`](https://github.com/inttegro/inttegro-demos/blob/react-native-expo-v1.8.3/react-native-expo/src/demoBackend.ts)
requests the order ID from your backend.
2. [`App.tsx`](https://github.com/inttegro/inttegro-demos/blob/react-native-expo-v1.8.3/react-native-expo/App.tsx)
presents the payment sheet and cleans up its subscription.

## Before you ship

Authenticate calls to your backend and keep all order fields there. Return only
the order ID to the app and verify payment before fulfillment.
