Before you connect
Create a separate Inttegro API key for each installation. Keep it on the server, never put it in page source or client-side configuration, and never reuse a key that can access payouts or financial accounts.
The permissions shown in each setup guide describe the restricted keys these extensions are designed to use. Inttegro does not enforce API-key scopes yet, so a dedicated key is an operational safeguard, not a complete security boundary. Rotate each installation onto its restricted profile when scope enforcement is available.
Know which system owns the catalog
- WordPress: edit products in Inttegro; WordPress reads and displays them.
- WooCommerce: import once from WooCommerce, then edit products in Inttegro. Later WooCommerce catalog changes are not written back.
- WhatsApp and Shopify: these integrations create transaction workflows; they do not take ownership of your catalog.
